Huge amounts of rain = huge amount of water. What is usually a trickle turns into a torrent. In this case, the old rivulet which flows from Mt Wellington down through (and under) the current Hobart CBD has plenty in it. Now its quite mild, but the day before this pic it was virtually white water rapids in its ferocity.

Otherwise, I’m getting used to walking to work in the rain, then spending the next few hours drying out. Then heading home and repeating the process. Even poor pudding (the cat) came to visit this morning and was soaked. Didn’t stop him from milking us for affection and attention. Nothing quite like a long haired cat thats soaking. A peculiar aroma that. Still, very cute.
